Celebrating World Menstrual Hygiene Day: Empowering Women and Breaking Taboos

National Commission for Women in association with SheWings Celebrates World Menstrual Hygiene. New Delhi, 26th May – The National Commission for Women (NCW), in association with SheWings, is proud to announce its upcoming event on 26th May, dedicated to celebrating World Menstrual Hygiene Day. This significant occasion aims to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene, break taboos, and empower women by improving their health and hygiene. Women become more productive when she is in good health.on the same day with different events SheWings personal care will also unveil its revolutionary product, India’s first Minor Friendly Sanitary Product, designed to cater to the specific needs of young girls. 

The event will take place at the NCW Auditorium in Jasola, Delhi, and promises to be a platform for meaningful discussions, knowledge sharing, and fostering collaborations among stakeholders in the menstrual hygiene sector. With a firm belief that women cannot be truly empowered unless they are financially independent, the National Commission for Women has been working tirelessly to promote gender equality and advocate for economic empowerment.
